Job Title: Tenure-Track or Contracted Limited Term Appointment (3 Years), Assistant Professor in Computer Networks
Position Status: Tenure-Track or CLTA; OPSEU Local 685
Location: Brampton, Ontario
Number of Positions: 3 (2 in TT, 1 in CLTA)

Position
-Tenure-Track Appointment available for the following:
-Rank: Assistant
-Department: School of Computer Science and Technology
-Location: Brampton
-Preferred Start Date: September 1, 2024 or January 1, 2025

Qualifications
-Preference will be given to candidates with a terminal degree in Computer Science, or a closely related field and a demonstrated commitment to teaching and research.
-expertise in teaching Computer Networks, Network Security, IoT Networking, Operating Systems, Computer Organization, Data Structures and Algorithms, and Java Programming courses.
-demonstrated relevant academic background in the field of wireless networks, vehicular communications and networks, edge computing and caching, Internet of Things (IoT), network security, network simulation, blockchain, and online social networks), research portfolio and a record of teaching excellence.
-experience with remote/online/hybrid instruction is desirable.
