The Faculty of Engineering Research Scholarships for Southeast Asia, Japan and South Korea This PhD Scholarship has been established to provide financial assistance to students from Southeast Asia, Japan and South Korea.

An essential qualification for career advancement in higher education, a PhD also provides students with a competitive edge for careers in industries such as finance, resources and energy, as well as emerging sectors including healthcare, advanced manufacturing and environmental sciences.

Successful candidates will receive a fully-funded 3.5 year scholarship which includes fees and a stipend of $40.1k AUD (2024 rate) as well as further support for conference travel.

Eligibility

Applicants will be expected to have strong grades in a relevant discipline to their proposed area of research and personal attributes including motivation, curiosity, attention to detail and the ability to collaborate.
