The Yorkshire Cricket Foundation was thankful to receive a grant from Bradford City Council in 2023 to undergo an in-depth exhibition and oral history project on the history of one of Yorkshire County Cricket Club’s most impactful and important out-grounds, Bradford Park Avenue.
The oral history interview phase of the project involved capturing the memories, experiences, and stories of individuals that have been involved with the ground over its modern history.
This phase resulted in 15 interviews, varying in length between 12 minutes and 50 minutes, with people that have been involved in a personal and professional capacity.
We are looking for some volunteers to help us transcribe both the short clips and full interviews that have been recorded for this important project. These will then be included with the interviews within the dedicated Online Exhibition section of our website at: https://yorkshireccc.com/community/yorkshire-cricket-foundation/heritage/online-exhibitions/
This role is remote only – all training will be provided by a member of the Heritage department to equip you for this role.
