Translator

Overview:

We are looking to hire experienced bilingual (English/Spanish) communications specialist to support a wide range of strategic programs across business segments.

The Translator is responsible for the translation of materials from English into Spanish. This role assists with the planning and coordination of day-to-day activities relating to the Spanish translation of all Scor PT. Conference-approved literature as well as staff resources, service materials, and periodicals.

Translator Responsibilities:

● Provide translation of department documents that are easily understood by the families served
● Provide accurate oral translation at a variety of department-sponsored events as assigned
● Communicate with families by telephone or in-person to arrange meeting times and other routine matters before, during, and after hours or on weekends if necessary
● Be familiar with the community and culture of the families being served
● Manage own timeline to meet all deadlines

Requirements / Qualifications:
– High School diploma or GED – Two years experience in translating oral/written materials – Must be able to read, write and speak fluent English/Spanish – Must be available to work a flexible schedule

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $179.04 – $251.37 per day
