Trusts and Foundations Manager

The Benedetti Foundation is looking for a highly motivated, enthusiastic and knowledgeable person to join our growing team in the new role of Trusts and Foundations Manager. We are seeking a committed, dedicated individual with a strong interest in music education and storytelling, a proven track record in Trusts and Foundations fundraising and a passion for research. This is a brand-new role for our organisation, in which you will build upon successful practices to date and work with our Head of Development and Development Officer to support the fundraising aims of our organisation.

The role will aim to:

• Establish, grow and maintain relationships with grant-giving bodies interested in supporting our pioneering music education work
• Tell the story of our mission and vision in a compelling way through application and report writing, and stewardship
• Research and grow our funding prospects with regards to Individuals and grant-giving bodies
• Be a proactive, self-motivated and supportive member of the Foundation team

Location for role: Home-based with a requirement to join monthly full team meetings in London and meet with the Head of Development in person as required for the role. You will also be required to attend occasional Benedetti Foundation events, wherever possible across the UK (all travel expenses will be reimbursed). Location is flexible within the UK and will be discussed and reviewed before an offer is made and at the end of the probationary period.

Hours: Flexible between 0.6 FTE (3 days a week) and Full Time. Hours will generally be worked between Monday to Friday 9am-5pm with occasional evening and weekend work as required by the role; a time-in-lieu policy is in place.

Salary: £30,000 – £35,000 depending on experience, pro-rata for part-time (£18,000 – £21,000 at 0.6 and £24,000 – £28,000 for 0.8).
