The Opportunity

The job holder provide support to, PIE’s supported TSFP Nurse activities of the government, in all kebeles of each target woredas. The post holder will be responsible for ensuring the provision of quality Moderate Acute Malnutrition Management cases (MA, and followup services to target beneficiaries through ensuring adherence to national and international MAM case management protocols.

The Individual

  • Education: Bsc Nursing Degree/diploma from a recognized health college.
  • Minimum three years’ experience with INGO/NGO of Infant and young Child Feeding practices /treatment of malnourished children in nutrition program (TSFimplementation – case definition and care, clinical management, TSFP management, data collection and compilation, working with counterpart for lasting intervention, training of health workers, etc

Languages required:

  • Good written and spoken of the local language (Afaan Oromto the area mandatory in addition to English.

  • Understands and puts into practice the responsibilities under Safeguarding and GEI policies and Plan International’s Code of Conduct (Co, ensuring that concerns are reported and managed in accordance with the appropriate procedures.
  • Ensures that all staff signed safeguarding policies;
  • Implement Plan International’s global policies for Safeguarding Children and Young People and Gender Equality and Inclusion are fully embedded in day to day work.
