Venue Assistant – Mile End Park Pavilions (Fixed term, 2-year post), Tower Hamlets Council

A key priority for this role is the ongoing commercial development of the venues and requires a candidate with commercial awareness of the event, marketing and hospitality sectors.

We are looking for a candidate that has excellent client management skills and experience of working in multi purpose venues. The role will be customer focused including arranging and hosting venue viewings with potential clients through to finalising bookings, payments and supporting the delivery of events in the venues. This role will support the marketing and promotion of the events and help to strengthen the reputation of these flagship venues.

The role requires a candidate that is commercially minded with a track record of working with corporate and commercial clients to support income generation targets. You will be a central point of contact for clients, ensuring the highest standards of customer care and satisfaction.
