Roles & Responsibilities （職務内容）

• Gather insights from HCPs and analyze to support the development of appropriate medical strategy for the assigned product and related therapeutic area.
• Plan and execution of Scientific Communication Plan in accordance with medical strategy.
• Strengthen and maintain the relationship with any stakeholders such as HCPs, scientific societies and patient advocacy groups.
• Respond to medical queries from customers in a proper and timely manner in cooperation with Medical Information
• Support to develop and execute medical strategy and tactics that can address unmet medical needs as well as aligned with business needs for the portfolio of focus
• Manage/operate Investigator Initiated Trials in accordance with relevant laws and regulations
• Ensure medical / pharmaceutical validity of promotional activities by reviewing promotional materials, training materials, FAQs and presentation slides at company-sponsored seminars.
• Provide medical scientific input based on KOL’s insights in the business development opportunity assessment
• Drive medical strategy through partnership with cross functional teams
• Drive growth by creating key opportunities depending on product stages to improve the burden of patients
• Support to plan and conduct company-driven medical research including clinical study or database study, etc. for the purpose of understanding the real-world medical situation and contributing to advancement of healthcare
• Ensure appropriate benefit/risk assessment and risk minimization of the assigned product from medical/scientific point of view
• Make an effective partnership with Global/Regional colleagues to drive medical initiatives
• Manage the budget of own projects
• Enhance compliance in collaboration with relevant departments at Viatris

Required Skills and Knowledge

Master’s degree or higher in Science / Degree in Medicine, or Degree in Pharmacy with 6 year program

Experience

・Have more than 5-year experiences in Pharma industry (favorable in Medical or Clinical division) or equivalent experiences

Technical

・High communication skills

・A person who understands compliance and relevant laws/regulations in the pharmaceutical industry and advocates the appropriate use of the products

・A person who can create innovative goal and lead cross functional group to accomplish goals

・Able to understand English literature

・English and Japanese communication skill sufficient for presentation and discussion in meetings and e-mails
