Main purpose of job: The Health & Safety Compliance Officer will demonstrate professional best practice in health & safety in the workplace through established processes and engagement with staff, promoting a healthy and safe workplace. The Health & Safety Compliance Officer will lead the BHC Nairobi on all compliance checks and documentation compilation to be fully compliant with Kenya & UK Health and Safety standards. They will provide professional advice and guidance to ensure a compliant estate. They will be the post Fire Safety Manager. They will work closely with Estates colleagues on Health and Safety Communication and Programmes for the British High Commission Nairobi and will work close with the Senior Regional Technical Lead and Technical Works Supervisors in ensuring a safe and compliant Estate. They will manage a dedicated Health & Safety Budget to delivery their work. |
