The British Embassy in Warsaw is now looking actively to recruit a International Liaison Adviser.
The main purpose of the job will be to provide support to the International Liaison Officer of the UK’s National Crime Agency (NCA) based in Warsaw. The person recruited for this role will be responsible for carrying out a range of administrative duties as well as a variety of other tasks detailed below.
The ideal candidate should have excellent interpersonal and communication skills and be able to work in an environment where time-critical actions can make great demands upon staff; this means that the post can sometimes be both exciting and challenging. The job requires proven administrative and organisational skills, and the ability to manage confidential matters.

This is a full-time, fixed-term position of 5 days (37.5 hours net) per week, for a period of 2 years, with the possibility of extension.
The gross salary for this position is PLN 8,959 gross per month.
The successful candidate will be subject to the references check and satisfactory completion of a probationary period of three months.
The annual leave entitlement is 20 or 26 days per year pro rata and the Embassy also enjoys a maximum of 14 Polish / UK public holidays per year.
Please note that staff members are responsible for paying any income tax required by the local law.
Staff recruited locally by the British Embassy in Warsaw are subject to Terms and Conditions of Service according to Polish employment law.
Visa / Passport requirements: Candidates must currently hold the independent right to live and work in Poland and be prepared to ensure that right remains throughout the scope of the contract. Please note that it is your responsibility to ensure you meet the legal requirements to live and work in this country. The British Embassy does not sponsor work permits.
Working pattern: Embassy core hours are from 1000-1600 and staff are required to work 37,5 hours per week plus a 30-minute lunch-break each day. The Embassy supports the work-life balance of its employees, and is open to flexible working.
Flexible working pattern – days/hours worked to be agreed with the Line manager and the team; there is a possibility to work partly remotely and outside of the usual working hours which are:
Mon-Thu: 08:30 – 17:00
Fri: 08:30 – 14:00
Job holder might be asked to work outside normal working hours from time to time.
Learning and Development opportunities: There will be opportunities to receive practical training around the subject of cyber crime and financial crime and Open Source Internet Training. The jobholder will be encouraged to pursue external education and qualifications as part of their personal development.
