Main purpose of job:
The Systems, Data and Innovation Officer plays a vital role in supporting and enhancing the International Network’s operations across its four strategic pillars. Reporting to the Global Transition Lead and with matrix alignment to Regional Heads, this position focuses on developing and maintaining Power Platform solutions, data analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives that support the network’s mission.
The role supports a network of Visa Outreach Officers (VOOs) through technology solutions, particularly the VOO Logging app and related Power Platform applications that capture and manage business activities across all four pillars.
Roles and responsibilities / what will the jobholder be expected to achieve?
Establish & Maintain the Network
Systems and Innovation
- Support the Head of Systems, Data and Innovation with platform development initiatives.
- Identify and implement system improvements while maintaining documentation.
- Design and implement technical solutions to meet regional requirements.
- Drive continuous improvement through automation and system enhancements.
- Evaluate and implement new technologies based on user feedback and operational needs.
Training and Support
- Design and deliver technical training programs, including materials and user guides.
- Build and support a network of regional super users and champions.
- Support the Head of Systems and Innovation to monitor training effectiveness and system usage.
Performance Analysis
- Develop and maintain performance dashboards and analytical reports.
- Support data-driven decision making through trend analysis and insights.
- Support the Head of Systems and Innovation to monitor system effectiveness and implement improvements based on usage patterns.
Regional Support & Matrix Management
- Work directly with Regional Heads to understand and support local priorities and requirements.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for regional systems and performance queries.
- Contribute to regional strategic initiatives with data and systems expertise.
Relationship and Stakeholders
- Maintain and enhance contact management systems for stakeholder engagement tracking.
- Develop reporting solutions to monitor engagement effectiveness and stakeholder relationships.
- Support the network’s engagement tracking requirements through Power Platform solutions.
- Create dashboards to visualize stakeholder interaction patterns and engagement outcomes.
- Provide technical support for stakeholder management tools and applications.
Supporting Operations
- Support and maintain the DMC Escalations app and IT solutions for the Global Partner Programme, including associated Power Platform functionality, workflows and reporting requirements.
- Develop new applications to support operational requirements across regions.
- Create and maintain technical documentation and user guides.
- Design and deliver training sessions on systems and applications.
- Support overseas Enrichment teams with technical solutions for document processing and verification.
Customer & Market Insight
- Develop and maintain reporting solutions for market intelligence gathering.
- Create data visualization tools for market trend analysis.
- Support VOOs with technical solutions for insight capture and reporting.
- Design and implement data collection mechanisms for targeted insight gathering campaigns.
- Produce analytical reports to identify patterns and trends in market data.
Assurance & Integrity
- Develop and support systems for logging VAC inspections, TB centre audits, and SELT centre audits.
- Develop quality assurance monitoring tools and dashboards.
- Create and maintain solutions for compliance monitoring.
- Support data validation and integrity checks across systems.
- Implement technical solutions for audit trail maintenance.

- Essential Technical Skills
