Main purpose of job:
The Programme officer role covers a wide range of activities to support the delivery of FCDO projects, their objectives and the smooth delivery of programmes. They are empowered to help deliver highly effective programmes.
The Programme Officer can act a Project Officer on a number of non-complex projects, working in support of others, including technical advisers, Programme Managers, Programme Responsible Owners and Senior Responsible Owners. The Programme Officer may also be designated as a PRO, particularly in the closing stages of a programme.
They adhere to and can advise colleagues on FCDO Programme Operating Framework rules, compliance, and standards on key accountability issues.
Successful candidates will be expected to be proactive, be organised and able to work independently on specific tasks, spotting issues and problem solving within their remit to support the Programme Manager.
It is expected that professional accreditation be sought within one year of taking up the role.
You will role model flexibility and agility and take on different tasks and responsibilities to deliver business needs to ensure BHC Dhaka’s portfolio is best in class. You will also need to demonstrate how you will apply your skills as the BHC Dhaka portfolio continues to transition to a beyond aid model.
You will also lead on wider corporate contributions to ensure that BHC Dhaka is a great place to work and will role model the values and behaviours, as per the BHC Dhaka Culture, Diversity and Wellbeing Charter.

Level of language required: Exceptional command of written and spoken English and Bangla. These will be tested at interview.

The salary will be all inclusive of BDT 146,102 per month.
