This is a full-time fixed-term position of 3 years, for five working days (currently 35 hours net) per week. This position is office based, but with a remote working policy in place. Some travel may be required.
The successful candidate will be subject to professional background checks and security clearance.
Employees recruited locally by the British Embassy Oslo are subject to terms and conditions of service in accordance with Norwegian employment law.
The Embassy offers a wide-range of learning and development opportunities. We have learning and development high on the agenda. This is an exciting role at the heart of the UK Government’s agenda. The right candidate will be able to work on issues in the bilateral relationship at a pivotal point in UK-Norway trade relations, and the candidate will gain experience of bilateral stakeholder engagement at a key time for the UK.
Visa/work permit requirements: Candidates must currently hold the independent right to live and work in Norway and be prepared to ensure that right remains throughout the scope of the contract.
