Working at the heart of the British Embassy in Tunis, the Communications and Media Manager will coordinate across the Mission in order to deliver messages related to the Embassy’s objectives to all relevant stakeholders, such as the Tunisian Government, the business community, British Nationals, and the wider general public.
Whether it is amplifying messages from visiting British VIPs, supporting the Ambassador’s communication strategy, running our social media platforms, or delivering media campaigns, the work you undertake will make a difference and will help ensure UK interests and objectives are effectively communicated in Tunisia. While the work can be high-pressured and fast-paced, you will be at the centre of things, working alongside senior diplomats and a broad range of policy departments.

We also have an active L&D Committee, which promotes different ways of learning and to which applications can be made for specific, funded learning activity. The jobholder will also be required to undertake a number of mandatory training courses as part of their role.
The International Academy (IA) is the home of L&D for the FCDO.
