Description

BlueForce, Inc. is seeking for Senior Police Advisors to provide services in support of upcoming task orders located in Central America and other Western Hemisphere countries such as San Jose, Costa Rica.

General Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical advice to the National Police Academy to improve effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Provide comprehensive instruction on training development, continual education programs such as on-line or virtual education classes and course work.
  • Prepare and develop all materials for police training courses (in Spanish). At the conclusion of the training, the materials will become property of the U.S. Department of State.
  • Promote the application of police procedures regarding training and education.
  • Provide technical advice as requested.
  • Design and print educational and awareness materials to be used in seminars and workshops;
  • Local and international travel may be required.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

Police Advisor IV:

  • MRPT certification or RSO clearance.
  • Bachelor’s degree in international relations, law enforcement, public policy, or (15) years of related professional law enforcement experience.
  • FSI level 3/3 Spanish, FSI level 3/3 English.
  • Fifteen (15) years’ experience with U.S. or other country law enforcement or military, which must include:

o Three (3) years working overseas in an Embassy environment, or
o Three (3) years of specialized experience depending on the position (e.g. intelligence, firearms, gangs, kidnapping, drugs, internal affairs);

  • Experience briefing in Spanish and English.
