WRITER – Buddhism podcast

The overarching content of the script is to explore Buddhism and the three jewels Buddha (the enlightened one/ones; the ability to become enlightened), dharma (the teachings of the Buddha) and sangha (community). We will work closely with the trustees of the Buddhist Centre in Cardiff researching what this looks like in the context of their lives, and explore with the young people what their equivalents might be, growing up in Wales. The final production will be recorded by professional actors performing alongside young performers from the participating school.

The writer will be required to plan and facilitate workshops in the school and to develop the themes.

Fee:
Workshops – £750 – 5 x 2.5 sessions @ £150 per session in school/community. Hourly rate – £60
Script creation £900 – script length 10 minutes
4.5days @ £200 per day

Travel will be reimbursed

Location – Primary School, Cardiff

Workshop dates: starting week commencing 27.01.2025 and running for 5 weeks. Workshops can take place on a Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday morning 9.30-12noon dependent on the candidates availability.
