Description

Notre Dame Academy High School in West Los Angeles is seeking a qualified English teacher to serve as a full-time long-term substitute teacher starting in late October and lasting through late March. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated success teaching AP or college preparatory English classes, with experience teaching AP Seminar considered a plus. We aim to find a creative teacher who can work collaboratively and independently, who is organized, flexible, and hard working, and who embodies a growth mindset. Ultimately, we are seeking the best-fit candidate who can successfully implement the teacher of record’s lessons in freshman and sophomore English classes during the teacher’s absence. Late October would provide an opportunity to shadow and collaborate with our teacher before the teacher’s temporary departure.
