At our Horsham branch, the Art Teacher is responsible for delivering the classes and supporting running the studio, with time split across teaching and class preparation (75%), and administration and promotion (25%). Full training is provided in our teaching methods, with ongoing support from our central team and a national network of art teachers.
Working Hours & Schedule:
This is a part-time role with a fixed schedule during term time and adjusted hours during school holidays:
Term Time on the following schedule:
Monday 13:30 – 21:30
Tuesday 2-6pm
Wednesday 10:00 – 5:30
Thursday 12:30 – 21:00
Sunday 8:00 13:30
School Holidays (14 weeks/year): The same number of hours will be worked between Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm, with the exact daily schedule varying based on the needs of the studio.
Salary: £25,255.36 per annum
Fixed salary, which will increase as the studio grows. Promotional opportunities are available every term.

The Ideal Candidate:
Holds an art degree or equivalent experience across a range of artistic mediums.
Has experience teaching or working with children in an educational or creative setting.
Possesses strong communication skills, including the ability to empathise with others, to engage effectively with students, parents, and colleagues.
Exhibits a positive, proactive attitude and works well both independently and as part of a team.
