Job Summary
Job Description
We are recruiting a Metalwork, Welding & Fabrication Technician to join our production team, responsible for the manufacture of high quality Cox London pieces. Working within a creative making environment, you will fabricate bespoke furniture and lighting from first fabrication through to final assembly.
This role requires expert knowledge of metalworking and fabrication processes, predominantly in brass, alongside ferrous metals suitable for furniture and lighting manufacture. Team members are expected to be adaptable and inventive, continually developing skills and processes in line with the Cox London house style.
You will be expected to fabricate company products to the required standards within specification, in full and on time meeting the costed hours for fabrication.
This technical role is for the fabrication of high end interior products. You need to be and expert in your field with high level experience and knowledge of metal working and fabrication processes, predominantly in brass but also ferrous metals suitable for furniture & lighting manufacture.

Job Requirements
Essential:
Extensive professional experience in metal fabrication and welding
High level skill in TIG and MIG welding and metal fabrication processes
Strong attention to detail and pride in craftsmanship
Ability to work independently and as part of a production team
Commitment to maintaining quality, consistency and safe working practices
Desirable:
BA, MA or completed apprenticeship in metalworking or a related discipline
Experience specialising in brass or bronze
