Location: Glenfield and Whetstone, Leicester
Pay: £25 per hour (starting wage)
Hours: After-school and week-nights, term time. Additional opportunities available during school holidays.
Mondays 4:30 – 6:30 pm in Whetstone
Wednesdays 4:00 – 6:00/6:45 pm in Glenfield
Thursdays 4:00 – 5:30 pm in Glenfield
Teach singing and musical theatre to small groups of children aged 4-16, grouped by age/ ability. Prepare children for Showcases and LAMDA exams.
Vocal Expertise: Strong vocal technique and formal vocal training.
Engaging Teaching Style: Excellent teaching skills with the ability to captivate children and manage group behaviour positively.
Reliability: You are organised, punctual, hardworking, and a brilliant team player.
Ideals…
A degree in Performing Arts/Music or significant industry experience.
Experience teaching children and/or knowledge of the LAMDA exam syllabus.
A valid driving licence and access to a car.
Existing DBS, Public Liability Insurance, and training in First Aid/Safeguarding (don’t worry if you don’t have these yet – we can help arrange them for the right candidate!).
