As the Testing Lead, you are responsible for ensuring the quality and readiness of all solutions delivered in the different transformation tracks. You will design and execute a comprehensive, end-to-end testing strategy across all phases in alignment with CoE Quality Assurance, from initial planning to final user sign-off. This role is critical for preparing, planning and managing defect triage, coordinating user testing, and ensuring that all functional and non-functional requirements (incl. f.ex. OAT) are met before go-live.
Your role and responsibilities
- Test strategy & framework management;
- Develop and implement a comprehensive testing framework, including all plans, processes, and tools;
- Ensure full test coverage for all functional, non-functional, and regression scenarios;
- Test execution & defect management;
- Oversee all testing cycles, ensuring they are executed on schedule and meet quality standards;
- Lead the defect triage process, working with technical and business teams to prioritize and resolve issues;
- Stakeholder coordination & reporting;
- Work with functional analysts and business process owners to develop robust test scenarios and cases;
- Provide regular, clear reporting on testing progress, quality metrics, and overall readiness to leadership.
How to succeed/Your profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field;
- 5 years of experience in software testing and quality assurance, with at least 5 years in a leadership role for a large-scale program;
- Extensive experience with test management tools (e.g., Jira, Xray, …) and automation frameworks;
- Expertise in modern testing methodologies and best practices;
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and coordinate cross-functional teams;
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with a meticulous eye for detail;
- Effective communication and stakeholder management skills;
- Pro-active mindset to deliver qualitative and durable solutions.
