Job Summary

We are looking for an organised, flexible, and reliable Coordinator to join the Creative Hub team. The Creative Hub sits at the heart of the Unicorn’s work, engaging young people at various points in the R&D and rehearsal process for all our inhouse productions.

Job Description

Creative Hub Department Support

General administrative and communication support.
Financial administration, such as processing invoices, expenses and updating budgets.
Schedule and attend meetings, including taking and distributing minutes.
Check freelance availability, drafting and filing contracts.
Be the first point of contact with families for the Creative Associates and Creative Families programmes,
providing clear updates and responding to enquiries.
Support impact and evaluation across Creative Hub activity including inputting data from written forms.
Keep a central record of project milestones, including accurate records for reporting and general pre and post
project activity records.
Attend relevant training opportunities and Community or Sector Networking Opportunities.
Offer support to the Creative Hub team as required.
Work with Creative Hub department to look at creation of work that responds to the Unicorn strategic plan.

Project Coordination and Delivery
Coordinate Creative Associates Company monthly sessions, including liaising with families and the facilitation
team under the guidance of the Creative Hub Producer.
Coordinate Creative Hub Local sessions as part of the Creative Families programme, liaising with local partners
such as family hubs under the guidance of the Creative Hub Producer.
Attend Saturday Creative Associates workshops once a month as a key contact for families.
Attend Creative Families project workshops and Creative Family Local workshops as a key contact for families.
Support occasional workshops across the Creative Hub programme as an Assistant Facilitator, as and when
required.
Local Tickets
Administrate this scheme, including promoting tickets to the local network and booking tickets for families or
groups and liaising with the Box Office team to confirm bookings.
Allocate tickets for each production and season in line with targets.

Job Requirements

Some experience working within an education or community-focused team in the cultural or charity sector (we
will consider experience in another sector if the relevance to this role is demonstrated in the application).
An interest in working with young people (0-13).
Experience communicating with different groups and coordinating project logistics.
Practical experience supporting the facilitation of workshops within school and/or community environments.
Experience providing administrative support, including maintaining accurate records.
The ability to prioritise a range of tasks across a varied workload.
Strong attention to detail.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
The ability to build rapport quickly with a range of stakeholders on the phone, over email and in person.
The ability to work within a team along with the motivation to work independently.
IT skills, including Microsoft Office.
The ability and willingness to work some weekends
