The Arts Place provide high-quality LAMDA provision to some of London’s leading independent prep schools. We are looking for experienced LAMDA teachers to join our growing team.

Job Description

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced LAMDA teacher who is passionate about helping children achieve outstanding LAMDA examination results whilst nurturing their confidence, communication and love of performance.

Our LAMDA teachers deliver engaging small-group classes, preparing students for LAMDA Introductory, Speaking in Public and Acting examinations. We are looking for teachers with an extensive knowledge of the LAMDA syllabus, who are confident teaching children from Year 1 to Year 6 with a range of abilities. Candidates must be organised, professional and committed to delivering lessons of the very highest quality. Above all our teachers must have a joyful energy and passion for teaching children and and inspiring young minds.

The Ideal Candidate
* Extensive experience teaching LAMDA examinations.
* Excellent knowledge of the LAMDA syllabus, particularly Introductory and Speaking in Public exams.
* A proven track record of preparing pupils to achieve excellent examination results.
* Experience teaching groups of children in primary school settings.
* A warm, engaging and encouraging teaching style.
* Excellent organisational skills and reliability – must be able to commit to weekly LAMDA classes.
* A genuine passion for building children’s confidence in performing and communication skills.

Essential Requirements
* Previous experience teaching LAMDA examinations.
* Experience working with children in schools or educational settings.
* An enhanced DBS certificate (or willingness to obtain one).
* A commitment to maintaining the highest standards of teaching and professionalism.

Teaching fees range from £50-£65 per hour.
